The Private Life of Adders
The common European adder (Vipera berus) is found throughout Europe and northern Asia. Despite its widespread distribution, and its notoriety as one of Europe's truly venomous snakes, very little is known about its private life. The author has been observing and photographing them on his local moor in Lancashire for many years and reveals adders as never seen before. With photographs and succinct text he gives us an insight into this fascinating reptile.
